AVI

Overview

Video plugin based on Microsoft's Video for Windows system. Used to support legacy drivers that do not function correctly under the DirectShow system. You should use the DirectShow plugin for importing and exporting AVI format files in preference to this plugin. This plugin does not support AVI files over 2GB in size.

This plugin was originally provided to give support to Matrox MJPEG formatted files created by the Marvel G400-TV or Rainbow Runner hardware.

Any video or audio format that is supported by Video for Windows.

Export

Any video or audio format that is supported by Video for Windows.
